1970’s Working Erika Model 105 Portable – New Ribbon, Case – Made In GDR
Working Erika Model 105 vintage, manual portable typewriter in London, UK. After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was produced in the late 1970’s. Regardless of such old age, the Erika machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and it provides customisable functions for comfortable typing. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This sturdy typewriter is fitted with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it and without any hassle. Also comes with the original case.
Made in GDR, East Germany.
The overall condition is excellent. All of the keys work without sticking and the typewriter types fully. Minor signs of use and age are present.
