Working and Serviced 1981 Olympia Regina Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – For Typing in Several European Languages – Made in the GDR
London Typewriters are delighted to present for sale an Olympia Regina typewriter, which was manufactured in 1981, in the GDR.
Olympia typewriters were mainly manufactured in Western Germany, from the 1950s onward. This particular typewriter was manufactured in Eastern Germany.
This Olympia Regina is designed for typing in several European languages – English, Spanish, French and Italian, as the keys contain the accents necessary to type in these languages. Please refer to photos to confirm the accents.
The Olympia Regina has a very light key action and works very well. All the mechanisms work as intended.
A new black ribbon is supplied and the typewriter is ready for action. It comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The machine is fixed to the padded base to provide a solid base but can be removed if needed.
The overall condition of the Olympia Regina is very good. The keys type without sticking and the machine functions well. Minor signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos.
The Olympia Regina is suitable for typing long projects. Multilingual speakers would find this typewriter a valuable acquisition.
