1930’s Working Remington Noiseless Portable Deluxe Typewriter – New Ribbon – All Uppercase Keyboard

Working Remington Noiseless Deluxe vintage, manual portable typewriter in London, UK. After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was produced in the late 1930’s. Regardless of such old age, the Remington machine works very well!Β  The comfortable keys are responsive and it provides customisable functions for comfortable typing. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift keys, margin setters, the carriage release lever, the paper guides and the paper release lever all work as intended. This American made typewriter is fitted with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it and without any hassle.

Please note that this Remington Noisless Deluxe model has an all caps keyboard i.e. a key typed without the shift would be identical to a key pressed with the shift, please refer to the photos of sample text. It could be case that this typewriter was used for a specific function (for example, typing on labels or documents) and hence all letters are upper case.

The overall condition is excellent. All of the keys work fine and the Remington types well. During the testing, I have noticed that the typewriter can skip a letter once in a while however it does not occur often. No case is present.

The black Remington typewriter would be ideal for writers and authors, especially in the creative field. It will also be a unique gift. Due to the style and the aesthetics of the Remington Noiseless Deluxy typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as exhibitions and weddings. It appeals to all generations.

The vintage Remington Noiseless Deluxe typewriter is located in London, UK.
