1960’s Working Olympia Splendid 66 – New Ribbon, Case – Cursive Font
Working Olympia Splendid 66 vintage manual portable typewriter. From the 1960’s, the machine works very good! The keys and levers function as they should. The comfortable keys are very responsive and the typewriter provides a range of settings to make your typing just the way you like it: allowing to set different margins, personal touch tuning, line spacing and others. This petite German typewriter is fitted with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it and without any hassle. The metal body of the typewriter was painted glossy black and has a slight texture to it. It is an intriguing hybrid of Adler Tippa design and Olympia Traveller De Luxe functionality. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
Please note that this model comes with a rare, cursive font and most of the letters would connect to each other, as if written by hand.
The overall condition is very good. All of the keys work as intended. Minor signs of use and age are present.
This intriguing word processor would be ideal for writers and authors, especially in the creative field. It will also be a unique gift. Due to the style and the aesthetics of the typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as exhibitions and weddings. The Olympia machine appeals to all generations.
The retro Olympia Splendid 66 typewriter is located in London, UK.
