1970’s Working Adler Tippa S – New Ribbon, Case – Made In Holland – Original Yellow
Working Adler Tippa S vintage, manual portable typewriter in London, UK. After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was produced in the 1970’s. Regardless of such old age, the Adler machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and it provides customisable functions for comfortable typing. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This Holland made typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it and without any hassle. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
Please note that the colour of the Adler Tippa S is the original yellow and has not been spray painted recently.
The overall condition is good. The keys work well and generally do not stick when used throughout typing. Minor signs of use and age are present.
The retro beige typewriter would be ideal for writers and authors, especially in the creative field. It will also be a unique gift. Due to the style and the aesthetics of the Tippa typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as exhibitions and weddings. It appeals to all generations.
The retro Adler Tippa S typewriter is located in London, UK.
