Compact Corona Junior Typewriter Of 1930s Vintage – New Ribbon, Case – Made In USA
London Typewriters is offering for sale a working and serviced Corona Junior typewriter, which was manufactured in the 1930s, in the USA.
This typewriter was designed with novice and young typists in mind, with comfortable, light touch keys which are effortless to use for those new to typing, making the whole typing process smooth and enjoyable.
The Corona Junior works very well. The keys work as intended and the original metal spools are secured by cups to prevent ‘jumping’ and achieve an even straight line of typed text. The typewriter is equipped with a black ink ribbon and it is ready for immediate use, upon delivery. It comes with a case which has a comfortable handle.
The typewriter was manufactured in the 1930s, during the Great American Depression. Also, as it was designed with simplicity in mind for use by junior typists, this model lacks the ribbon colour switch (ribbon of only one colour can be used at a time), the right margin and the bell.
The overall condition is good. Minor signs or age and use are present.
If you are looking for a gift for a young typist, this would be ideal. It would also be perfect for occasional typing. This could be an attractive addition to any interior setting.
The Corona Junior typewriter is located in London (U.K.).
