London Typewriters is delighted to present for sale an elegant Remington Rand Monarch 5 portable typewriter, built in the second part of the 1930s, in the USA.

This is another fine example of the versatile brand of Remington typewriters. This machine works perfectly well and is cosmetically well preserved, including all the bright chrome features. The metal rim keys have glass tops to prevent the letters from wearing-off. The keys offer an inviting comfortable feel, requiring an effortless, light touch.

There is a new black ink ribbon installed and the Remington Rand Monarch 5 is ready for immediate use. Please note, there is no case for this typewriter.

The overall condition is excellent. Minor signs of age and use are present.
