For Typing in English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Estonian – Working 1970s Brother DeLuxe 220 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Japan

Hello! Hallå! Hallo! Hej! Hei! Tere!

London Typewriters are delighted to present for sale this universal Brother DeLuxe 220 typewriter, which was manufactured in the 1970s, in Japan, for the Scandinavian market.

What makes this particular typewriter so unique is that it has been cleverly designed to type in six different languages: English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish and Estonian.

The Brother DeLuxe 220 is in excellent working order and will bring joy to the typist with the melodic clicking sound made by the keys. The typewriter has a reasonably quiet key action and types very well.

All of the mechanisms work as intended.

The machine is ready for action as it comes with a new black ribbon and the original case.

Overall condition is good. Clear signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos.

The Brother DeLuxe 220 would be perfect for bilingual, multilingual typists. It would also be suitable for younger and experienced typists.

Happy typing on the Brother DeLuxe 220 typewriter!
