Imperial Good Companion Model 6 Typewriter
£285.00
Working Imperial Good Companion Model 6 is offered for sale by London Typewriters.
This beautiful model was designed and made in 1963, in Leicester, England, by the iconic English typewriter manufacturer, Imperial.
Regardless of such old age, this restored typewriter works well! The comfortable keys are crisp in action and snappy, making the typist feel confident whilst using the typewriter.
The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended.
This Good Companion Model 6 is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any inconvenience.
The overall condition is good. Some visible signs of use and age are present – please refer to photos.
One of the Imperial Good Companion models was a trustworthy typing companion to John Lennon, the acclaimed member of the famous Beatles.
