Olivetti Studio 45 Typewriter

London Typewriters are delighted to offer for sale this green Olivetti Studio 45 typewriter.

According to the serial code, this model was manufactured in 1973, in Spain.

The comfortable keys are smooth and easy to type with and it makes typing an enjoyable and pleasurable experience. All the mechanisms work perfectly. This iconic Italian Olivetti is fitted with a new black ribbon and the machine is ready for action.

The typewriter is equipped with the ribbon colour switch, therefore you will be able to use one ribbon and switch between two different colours, usually black and red. The original case is provided which has a comfortable handle.

The uniqueness of this typewriter lies in the fact that it is equipped with all the necessary characters (accents, umlauts, and the tilde) for typing texts in Spanish, Swedish, German, French, and, of course, English.

It is worth noting that this typewriter features the distinctive “Cubic” typeface, which is excellent for preparing technical reports and similar documents.

The overall condition is very good. All of the keys work smoothly and this Olivetti functions as expected. Minor signs of use and age are present – please refer to photos.

Please note that closing the right latch of the case requires a little effort.

This contemporary looking sleek typewriter would suit any typist, with or without any typing skills.
