London Typewriters is pleased to present for sale a well-preserved Olympia Splendid 66 portable typewriter, manufactured in Western Germany.
What makes this typewriter especially exquisite is that it was designed for typists specialising in the fields of mathematics and science – please refer to photos (symbols on the upper row and the right side).
As a double bonus, this Olympia Splendid 66 can be used for typing in English and German as it has the umlaut and the ligature ß (Eszett) keys.
This typewriter has undergone all necessary preparations for successful typing. All the mechanisms work as intended.
There is a black ribbon installed. So, the typist can start typing without delay as soon as the machine is received by its new owner.
Overall condition is very good. Very minor signs of age and use are present.
Please note that the case is nor original but sufficient enough to protect the typewriter from dust and sunlight.
