London Typewriters offer for sale an Empire Aristocrat typewriter, made in the 1950s, in the British Typewriters Ltd.
The Empire Aristocrat has a light key action and types well. All the mechanisms function as intended. At the end of each line, there is an impressive ‘Ding’ sound from the bell.
A new black ribbon is installed and the typewriter is ready for action. It comes with a case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is good. Signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos.
The Empire Aristocrat would be suitable for travelling as it is light in weight and flat. Due to its style, it would be a good addition to any thematic events. The Empire Aristocrat would be suitable for typists of any typing ability.
