The Royal Arrow typewriter has retained all its mechanical functions very well. The keys are protected with glass and metal rims; consequently the typewriter is well preserved and will continue to serve several generations of users. The light keys provide a very soft sound when typing and this prevents fatigue.

The typist will be able to adjust the touch control of the keys to their own preference.

One of the keys was modified by the previous owner to allow typing in French — see photos. This means the typewriter can be used for typing in both English and French at the same time.

The Royal Arrow is supplied with a new black ink ribbon. So, it is ready to be used immediately upon arrival. Also, it comes with the original case which has a sturdy handle.
