Vintage 1940s Underwood Champion Manual Typewriter – New Ribbon, No Case, Dust Cover – Made in USA

The Underwood Champion manual portable typewriter was made by the Elliot Fisher company in the early 1940s, in the USA.

After some restoration, this particular typewriter has gained a new lease of life and now works well, apart from the bell.

The Underwood Champion has smooth operating keys which are light and quiet in action. They are supported by metal rims and have a deep middle for a soft touch.

A new black ribbon is installed, so you can start typing as soon as you get it.

Please note that there is no case for this typewriter. But is not essential unless you are planning to carry it or to travel. A typewriter cover will be provided to protect the machine from dust while the Underwood is on your desk.

The Underwood Champion would be suitable for typists of any skill level and ability. It would make a charming present for any occasion or a suitable centrepiece for a thematic event.

The Underwood Champion vintage typewriter is located in London, UK.
