Working 1920’s Royal Model 10 Typewriter – New Ribbon – Stationary/Office Typing Machine – Glass Panels
Working Royal Model 10 typewriter in London, UK. After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was produced in the 1920’s. Regardless of such old age, the Royal black machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and it provides customisable functions for comfortable typing. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. The Royal Model 10 typewriter is fitted with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it and without any hassle. It also comes with the original metal spools.
This Royal Model 10 has a single glass panel on each side and offers the typist a view of the internal mechanics of the machine.
Please note that this is a stationary/office typewriter so it is heavier than the portable models – the weight is around 13kg. Shipping can be arranged.
The overall condition is good. All letter keys work well without sticking. Minor signs of use and age are present.
The vintage Royal typewriter is located in London, UK.
