London Typewriters is pleased to offer for sale this elegant 1937 Remington Portable Model 5 typewriter, which was manufactured from US-made parts and assembled in the UK.

This is another fine example of the versatile brand of Remington typewriters. This machine works perfectly well and is cosmetically well preserved, including all the bright chrome features. The metal rim keys have protective tops to prevent the letters from wearing-off. The keys offer an inviting comfortable feel, requiring an effortless, light touch.

There is a new black ink ribbon installed and the Remington Portable Model 5 is ready for immediate use. The typewriter comes with its original case, which has a handmade handle.
