Working Empire Aristocrat vintage, manual portable typewriter in London, UK. After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was produced in 1950’s. Regardless of such old age, the Empire typing machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and light and it makes typing effortless and enjoyable. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, margin setters, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This English made typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any hassle. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.

The overall condition is good. The keys function as expected and the machine types well. Minor signs of use and age are present.
