Working Remington Letter – Riter vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). The typewriter was manufactured in the 1950s, in Great Britain.
The Remington Letter – Riter works very well! The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever and the paper release lever all work as intended.
The typewriter is designed for typing in tables. Therefore, it has a lever for setting and clearing tabs. Also, the typist would be able to adjust the keys resistance to suit their own personal touch preference.
The British made typewriter is fitted with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is good. The letter keys type well and the Remington functions as expected. There are minimal signs of age and use – please refer to photos.
