This typewriter was manufactured in 1956, in Croydon, England.
Beautifully preserved machine works well! The typewriter is sturdy, with comfortable keys which are responsive and sharp, giving a feeling of confidence to the typist during the whole process of typing. All the mechanisms work as intended. At the end of each line there is a strong sound from the bell.
The typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and the machine is ready for immediate action. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is very good. Types well and the keys feel comfortable. Minor signs of use and age are present. Please note the typewriter is removable from the base if needed.
The Oliver Courier has a black, textured finish and would be ideal starting point for writers and authors. It would also make a creative gift for any occasion.
