Working 1957 Halda P Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Sweden

London Typewriters are offering for sale a rworking Halda P portable typewriter. This stylish typewriter was a successful model from the Swedish typewriter manufacturing industry.

The Halda P operates very well; the keys are soft to the touch and noiseless when typing. The complete typing experience with this typewriter is effortless and pleasurable.

The typewriter is equipped with a new black-ink ribbon on the original spools. So, it is ready to be used straight out of the box. It also comes with a brown leather case which has a comfortable handle.

The original forest green colour has a grainy finish together with chrome detailing. The machine is fixed to the base which is easily removed for the convenience of the typist.

The overall condition is good, with very minor signs of age and use – please refer to photos.

Just imagine that someone as famous as Ernest Hemingway used a Halda portable typewriter to write his novel ‘The Dangerous Summer’, at the end of the 1950s.
