Working Remington Quiet – Riter Miracle Tab vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). The typewriter was manufactured in 1959, in Great Britain.
The Remington Quiet-Riter Miracle Tab works very well! The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon selector (for the colour change), the carriage release lever and the paper release lever all work as intended.
The typewriter is designed for typing text in tables. Therefore, it has a lever for setting and clearing tabs. In addition, the typist will be able to adjust the key resistance according to their personal preferences.
This British made typewriter comes with a new ribbon so you can type as soon as you receive it. The set comes with an original case with a comfortable handle.
The overall mechanical condition is very good. Letter keys type well and the Remington performs as expected. There are noticeable signs of age and use (see photos).
