Working 1960s Olympia Splendid 66 Typewriter – Cursive Typeface – New Ribbon, Case – Made In Western Germany
Working Olympia Splendid 66 vintage manual portable typewriter with cursive typeface.
Manufactured in the 1960s, the machine works well! The keys and levers function as they should. The comfortable keys are very responsive and the typewriter provides a range of settings to make your typing just the way you like it: allowing to set different margins, personal touch tuning, line spacing and others.
This petite German typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is very good. All the letter keys work smoothly and the Olympia Splendid 66 functions well. Minor cosmetic signs of use and age are present. Please note that there are some insignificant signs of old paint to be worn off – please refer to photos.
The retro Olympia typewriter would be ideal for art projects or creative writing. Due to the typing font and the aesthetics of the typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as weddings.
The Olympia Splendid 66 vintage typewriter is located in London (U.K.).
