Working 1960s Olympia Splendid 66 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made In Western Germany
Working Olympia Splendid 66 vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). The typewriter was manufactured in the 1960s, in Western Germany.
Regardless of such old age, the Olympia machine works well. The comfortable keys are crisp when typing and the whole typing process is smooth and enjoyable. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift key, carriage lock, margin setters, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended.
This Olympia Splendid 66 typewriter is fitted with a new black ink ribbon. So you can type as soon as you get it and without any inconvenience. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The machine is in good condition. All of the letter keys work well. Minor signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos.
