Working 1970 Remington Envoy III Sperry Rand Typewriter – New Ribbon, No Case

Working Remington Envoy III Sperry Rand portable typewriter in London (U.K.). Despite being approximately fifty years old, the machine works well! The comfortable keys are responsive and strong in sound when pressed and it gives a sensation of confidence to the typist. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This white and navy Remington typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any inconvenience.

The overall condition is good. The keys type well and the all the machine’s functions work. Minor signs of use and age are present. Please note that there is no case for this typewriter. Also, the frame is slightly damaged at the rear – please refer to photos.

The Remington Envoy III would be suitable for typists with various typing skills. It would also be an interesting retro addition to any 1970s home decor.
