According to research on the serial code, the typewriter was manufactured in the 1970s, in England. Despite its age, the Empire-Corona is in good working order! The light keys are responsive and soft when typing and it really makes typing effortless and simple. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift keys, margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This portable Empire-Corona typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and can be used immediately on arrival. Also comes with the case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is good. The keys type well. Minor signs of use and age are present.
