Working 1970s Erika Model 105 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Original Orange – Made In GDR
London Typewriters is offering for sale this bright orange Erika manual typewriter, which was manufactured in the late 1970s, in Eastern Germany.
This high quality machine retains all its functions and works perfectly. The keys are light, comfortable and smooth when typing and therefore a minimum amount of effort is required to strike the keys. All the mechanisms work as expected and the keys work without sticking.
The typewriter is equipped with a new black ribbon and it is ready for immediate use. It also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is very good. Minor signs of use and age are present – please refer to photos.
The Erika typewriter would be ideal for art and other projects. It would also be ideal for typists with a light touch. It would appeal to all age groups, with or without any previous typing skills.
