Working 1970s Imperial Litton Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Japan
Working Imperial Litton vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was manufactured in the 1970s. Despite being almost fifty years old, the machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and light to the touch, making typing smooth and easy. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This Japanese made Imperial Litton typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any inconvenience. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is good. All of the keys work smoothly and the typewriter types well. Please note that some keys have dent on them, please refer to the photos.
This typewriter would be ideal for a traveller as it does not take much space. The typewriter would suit any typist with different typing skills. This particular typewriter would make a wonderful gift for any occasion.
