Working 1970s Imperial Safari Portable Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case, Manual – Made in Portugal
Working vintage Imperial Safari manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). According to the serial code, the machine was manufactured in the 1970s . Relatively not old compared to other typewriters, the machine works well! The keys are comfortable and soft and the key buttons are shaped with rounded edges and deep enough, which enables the typist to use less strength from the hands and therefore to speed up the process of typing. All the mechanisms work very well and the bell provides an impressive ‘Ding’ sound. This stunningly designed typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and is ready for instant action. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
Made in Portugal.
The overall condition is superb. All of the keys work and the typewriter functions well. Minor signs of age and use are present.
The sturdy and reliable Imperial Safari typewriter would be ideal for writers and journalists. It would also suit any typist with different typing abilities and typists with hand problems. This typewriter would be ideal for office use or as a gift.
