Working 1970s Olympia Monica Typewriter – New Ribbon, No Case, Dust Cover – Made in Western Germany

The Olympia Monica has undergone a full service and refurbishment by London Typewriters and now works very well. All keys and mechanisms work as expected.

There is a new black ribbon installed and the machine is ready for action straight out of the box.

Unfortunately, the original case is missing. However, we have a dust cover that will protect the machine while the typewriter is not in use.

Some of the metal inside the typewriter shows signs of weathering but this does not affect the functionality of the Olympia Monica. There are other signs of age and use – please see photos.

The frame and base of the typewriter is made from metal.

The Olympia Monica is a popular model among typewriter enthusiasts and is ideal not only for professionals, but also for typists who want a durable typewriter with an easy key action.
