London Typewriters are delighted to offer for sale a fully refurbished Olympia SM9, which was manufactured in the 1970s, in Western Germany.

The Olympia SM9 works very well, taking into account it is almost fifty five years old. The comfortable keys are sturdy and solid when typing and it provides a feeling of confidence to a typist. The mechanisms work as intended.

This Olympia SM9 typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and it is ready to be used immediately.

The overall working condition is very good. The typewriter types well and all of the keys work without sticking. Minor signs of use and age, particularly on the key tops, are present – please refer to photos.

The Olympia SM9 retro typewriter would be suitable for typing long projects, screenplays, books etc. Its would appeal to all generation of typists due to its smooth key action.
