Working 1980s Adler Junior 10 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Japan
Working and serviced Adler Junior 10 manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). The typewriter was manufactured in the 1980s, in Japan.
Despite its age, the machine retained all necessary functions and work fantastically well. Smooth, light to the touch keys provide an enjoyable experience when typing. All the mechanisms work as expected. The typewriter comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle. The new black ribbon is installed and the typewriter is ready for action.
The overall mechanical condition of the typewriter is very good. Minor signs of age and use are present. Please note the upper body has insignificant yellowing due to the age of the typewriter. Photos attached.
This typewriter would be ideal for a typist with little or no experience of using a typewriter, as the keys are suitable for a child’s hands. It would also be a reliable companion for writers working on long writing projects. It appeals to every generation of typists.
