Working and Serviced 1930s Corona Model S Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Canada

Here, at London Typewriters we are delighted to present for sale a 1930s Corona Model S typewriter, which was manufactured in Canada.

It is not often that Canadian made typewriters become available in the UK; however, we were pleased when this flat top Corona Model S came our way.

The typewriter was dismantled, deep cleaned, oiled and assembled to its original condition. Therefore, the Corona Model S is in good working order.

What is appealing about the Corona Model S is that the keys make a soft and subtle sound.

The typists can adjust the touch control to suit their own preference.

A new black ribbon is installed and the machine is ready for action upon arrival. The original case is also in good condition.

The overall condition is good. Minor signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos.

The Nobel Prize in Literature, was received by the poet T.S. Eliot for his masterpiece Four Quartets in 1948. One of two typewriters, used by Eliot to create his outstanding poetry was a flat top Corona typewriter.
