Working Hermes 3000 vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.) Manufactured in the 1960s, in Switzerland, the machine works very well. The light touch keys are responsive which makes the whole process of typing efficient and enjoyable. The backspace, carriage return lever, the shift keys, ‘lightning’ margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. The machine is equipped with a touch regulator, so the typist is able to adjust the keys to make them softer or harder to their own requirements. This mint colour typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and the typewriter is ready for immediate use. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The typewriter is equipped with an AZERTY key layout for typing in the French language.
The overall condition is good! All of the keys work and the Hermes 3000 operates as expected. Minor signs of age and use are present.
