Working Early 1960s Triumph Gabriele Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Italic Typeface – Made in Western Germany

This Triumph Gabriele typewriter is a great example of continued perfection from the Western German typewriter maker.

According to the serial code, the typewriter was manufactured in the early 1960s. Taking into account the typewriter’s age, it retains all necessary functions and works very well. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever perform their tasks as expected.

A new black ribbon is installed and the machine is ready for action. The Triumph Gabriele comes with the original case and a comfortable handle. Please note that the typewriter does comes off the base.

One of the distinctive features of the typewriter is its unique italic typeface which stands out and produces a handwriting style of type.

The overall condition is great. The keys work smoothly and the Triumph Gabriele typewriter types well. Minor signs of use and age are present.

The retro Triumph Gabriele typewriter would be ideal for art projects or creative writing. The cream colour of the top and the coffee colour of the body compliment each other therefore, it would look attractive on a desk or, would also make an ideal present. Due to the typing font and the aesthetics of the typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as weddings.

The Triumph Gabriele typewriter is located in London (U.K.).
