Working Late 1950s Antares Parva Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Italy
London Typewriters are delighted to present for sale an Antares Parva typewriter, which are not very often seen on the British market.
The production of Antares typewriters started in 1954 and they continued to be manufactured under this brand solely until the mid 1960s, later becoming part of another typewriter company in Italy.
The Antares Parva has been serviced and is ready for action. All of the mechanisms and keys work as intended. The key action is sharp when typing, supported by concave key buttons for a more comfortable touch.
The typewriter is slim with a velvety smooth surface on the body.
There is a new ribbon installed and the machine can be used straight out of the box. The original top is included.
Overall condition is good. The typewriter functions well. Minor signs of age and use are present such as the repaired top case has a few marks – please refer to photos.
The Antares Parva is born to travel if you are planning a writing retreat. It can be a memorable gift for any occasion.
