London Typewriters present for sale an original teal Imperial Good Companion 5 typewriter, manufactured in the late 1950s, in England.

The Imperial Good Companion 5 works perfectly well and retains all its functions. The chrome details are still shiny and untouched with age. The keys are soft and relatively quiet in action, concave in the middle for comfortable touch.

The typewriter equipped with a touch control to allow the typist to adjust the keys resistance, for their own preference. There are tabulator setting keys and clearing keys, allowing the typist to type in tables.

The Imperial is ready for action as it comes with a newly installed black ink ribbon.

The overall condition is very good. Minor signs of age and use are present – please refer to photos. Unfortunately, there is no case for this typewriter. However, a dust cover is provided to protect the Imperial while it is on your desk.

The Imperial Good Companion 5 typewriter would be suitable for typists of any generation and typing skills. It would also be convenient for typing scripts and

draft for books due to the smooth key action.
