Working Optima Elite 3 vintage, manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.). It was made in the late 1950s, in Germany. Regardless of such old age, the Optima Elite 3 works well! The comfortable burgundy keys are responsive and smooth when typing and it makes the whole experience of typing, enjoyable and effortless. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any inconvenience. The typewriter comes with the original case and has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is very good. The keys type well and the Optima Elite 3 functions as expected. Minor signs of use and age are present.
