Working Remington Letter-Riter DeLuxe manual portable typewriter was manufactured in the late 1950s, in U.S.A.

Despite being more than sixty years old, the machine works well!Β  The comfortable keys are responsive and strong in sound when pressed and it gives a sensation of confidence to the typist. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended.

This grey Remington typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so you can type as soon as you get it, without any inconvenience. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.

Another feature which makes this particular typewriter more advanced, compared to other typewriters, is the tabulator option, for typing in tabular form. The ribbon colour switch allows the typist a choice to type in two different colours, usually black and red. The line spacing has three positions: single, double and triple.

The overall condition is good. The keys type well and the machine functions very well. Minor signs of use and age are present – please refer to photos.

This intriguing Remington would be ideal for writers and authors, especially in the creative field. It will also be a unique gift. Due to the style and the aesthetics of the typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as exhibitions and weddings. It would appeal to all generations of typists.
