Working Late 1960s Remington Premier Sperry Rand Typewriter – New Ribbon, No Case, Dust Cover
Working Remington Envoy Premier Sperry Rand portable typewriter in London (U.K.).
Despite being approximately fifty years old, the machine works well! The comfortable keys are responsive and strong in sound when pressed and it gives a sensation of confidence to the typist. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended. This typewriter is fitted with a new black and it is ready for action.
The overall condition is very good. The keys type well and the all the machine’s functions work. Minor signs of use and age are present. Please note that there is not case for this typewriter. However, a dust cover is provided.
The Remington Premier would be suitable for typists of any generation and typing skills. It would also be an interesting retro addition to any 1970s home décor or a cute gift for any occasion.
