Working Late 1970s Adler Gabriele 25 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Rare Bulletin Font – Made in Western Germany

Dear typewriter enthusiasts,

In recent years, we at London typewriters, have been working with artists and admirers of typewriters, who have successfully introduced typing into their art and design for posters, original artwork, wedding invitations, a restaurant menu and numerous other design projects. Integrating typing into artwork, opens up infinite possibilities for artists to present their designs in an offbeat, retro style. Just imagine a composition of the Mona Lisa, which was created using a simple manual typewriter!

Taking the above into consideration, we are delighted to offer for sale this Adler Gabriele 25 typewriter which has an extra-large Bulletin font, 10 characters per inch, with a long and wide contour. The Bulletin font is a very rare font compared to classic fonts on typewriters, and its use really makes the text stand out.

The Adler Gabriele 25 is a real work horse, as it was built using reliable German engineering skills of the highest quality. When typing on the Adler, there is a sense of solidity coming from the keys.

The typewriter is in good working condition, after a full restoration. The keys and the rest of the mechanisms work smoothly as intended.

The machine is equipped with a Tabulator key allowing the typist to type in tables.

There is a new black ink ribbon installed and the machine is ready for action. It comes with the original case and a manual. In addition, a complementary black/red ribbon will be supplied.

The overall condition is very good. Minor signs of age and use are present.

Be inspired by the Adler Gabriele 25 and create your own art!
