Working Late 1970s Wilding TW100 Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Made in Japan

Working Wilding TW100 manual portable typewriter in London (U.K.).

The typewriter was manufactured in the late 1970s.

Despite such age, this machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and light making typing on it effortless and enjoyable. The backspace, carriage return lever, the bell, the shift keys, carriage lock, margin setters, ribbon colour switch, the carriage release lever, the paper guide and the paper release lever all work as intended.

This Japanese made typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon so it is ready for immediate use.

Also comes with the case which has a comfortable handle.

The overall condition is good. The keys type well and do not stick. Minor signs of age and use, particularly on the back black panel, are present – please refer to photos.

The Wilding TW100 would be ideal for a traveller as it is small in size and light in weight. The typewriter could be a starting point for a typewriter novice.
