After some research on the serial code, I concluded that it was manufactured in the 1950s, in Glasgow, Great Britain.
Regardless of its age, the Olivetti machine works very well! The comfortable keys are responsive and smooth and it makes the whole experience of typing, enjoyable and effortless. All the mechanisms function well. This iconic Italian typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and it is ready for immediate action. Also comes with the case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is good. The keys type without sticking and the Olivetti operates as expected. Minor signs of use and age are present.
