Working Vintage Early 1950s Oliver Typewriter – New Ribbon, Case – Black Colour, Matte Finish – Made in England
Working Oliver Portable vintage, manual typewriter in London (U.K.). According to the serial code, the machine was manufactured in the 1950s. Regardless of its age, the machine works well! The comfortable keys are responsive and sharp and it gives a feeling of sturdiness to the typist during the whole process of typing. All the mechanisms work as intended. The typewriter is fitted with a new black ribbon and the machine is ready for immediate action. Also comes with the original case which has a comfortable handle.
The overall condition is very good. The Oliver types well and the keys feel comfortable. Minor signs of use and age are present. Please note the typewriter id of black colour and matte finish.
This vintage typewriter would be ideal as a starting point for writers and authors. It would also be a quirky gift for Christmas. Due to the style and the aesthetics of the typewriter, it can be used for display purposes like home decor and events such as exhibitions and weddings. It would probably appeal to an older generation of typists.
